You've got the interview. That's the hard part done.
Out of everyone who applied, they picked you to talk to. Now the difference between an offer and a rejection usually isn't who's better at the job. It's who prepared better.
The Interview Edit is a 60-minute 1:1 session - frameworks for structuring your answers, live practice, and honest feedback while there's still time to use it.
You know the answer. It comes out as four minutes of context and no point. The interviewer stops listening long before you get to it.
British professional culture sometimes makes people uncomfortable claiming credit. So they say "we" when they mean "I", and the interviewer never learns what you did.
Competency questions like "tell me about a time when…" have a structure the interviewer is listening for. Without it, even a strong example lands as an anecdote.
"No, I think you've covered everything" is the most common way to end an interview and one of the worst.
Not getting to interview stage in the first place? Then the problem is upstream - start with The CV Edit.
Email me the role you're interviewing for, anything you know about the format, and when you're free. I'll reply within 24 hours with a time, a payment link and a short form.
A 60-minute 1:1 session covering frameworks, real practice and live feedback, tailored to your role and interview format.
After the session, you'll receive practice questions and proven frameworks to help you structure your answers, so you're ready for whatever comes up.
Walk in prepared, confident and ready to perform. No winging it.
Inside the session, we start with the job description - which requirements are the real priorities, and what the interview is likely to test. Then we build your answers to the questions most likely to come up.
Then you practise. Out loud, with me, and I stop you when something isn't landing and tell you why. That part is uncomfortable for about ten minutes and then it becomes the most useful part of the session.
You leave with your answers, the frameworks to build new ones, and a plan for the questions you'll ask them.
Interview coaching from someone who has sat on the other side of the table. I've trained recruiting managers. I know what interviewers write down afterwards, and what makes a panel take notice.
"Caitlin was the main reason I was able to walk into my interviews with so much confidence! We did such thorough interview prep and Caitlin prepared likely questions based on the company and the job role and picked crucial parts out of the job description that would likely be focal points in the interview. I got feedback from one interview that said I was 'enthusiastic and professional' and I truly think that was Caitlin's doing!"
"Caitlin helped me with my CV and interview prep for a job I really wanted, and I honestly can't recommend her enough. She gave me a really clear structure for answering interview questions. What felt really daunting at the start ended up feeling so much more simple and doable."
As far ahead of the interview as you can manage - the practice matters more than the theory. If it's imminent, say so in your email and I'll tell you if I can fit you in. A last-minute booking fee of £30 applies.
Partly. The session combines building your answers with live practice, so it's more useful than a straight mock, where you only find out afterwards what went wrong.
That's fine, and arguably better. General preparation means you're ready when one lands, rather than cramming in three days.
Yes, we can cover it in the session. Just mention it when we start.
Yes, all sessions are remote, so location is no barrier.
